Mid-life and pre-retirement families are choosing the Charlotte Coastal Region. Many are building or buying a second home in the region as a seasonal home for the short term, with plans in the long-term as their home for retirement. Coastal vistas, safe neighborhoods, and the very pleasant summer climate are very appealing, as are the oceanfront estate prices when compared to other areas. Many are coming for a simpler, less congested lifestyle and the great opportunities for outdoor activities such as golf, hiking and kayaking, not to mention the social and cultural opportunities. Our Home Sweet Home! We completed this house and moved in October, 2010. As an artist, I find Mariner’s Reach an endless source of inspiration for my paintings. Keep an eye out here for new work!
Every day is an experience living on the coast of the Bay of Fundy. The view changes hourly it seems. The skies are amazing with their colours and cloud formations. The photo of the young deer was taken from our dining room window on Monday, December 5, 2011.
